Using this site

This website is run by Truckee Snowbotics (FTC Team #32587), a student robotics team. We do our best to keep it accurate, but it is provided as is. Event dates, times, and live streams can change or fail, so check the official event page before you travel. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control those sites.

Our content

The text, photos, and design on this site were made by the team. Please ask before reusing them, and give credit if we say yes. FIRST, FIRST Tech Challenge, and the season game name and logos belong to their owners (FIRST and its partners); we use them to describe the competition we take part in.

Photos on this site

Most gallery photos show students at team events and competitions. We post photos of team members only with their permission, or their parent's or guardian's if they are under 18. Photos taken in public at events can include other people; if you appear in one and want it gone, you don't need to give a reason.

Submitting a photo

Team members can submit a photo through a form on GitHub (a free GitHub account is required). When you submit, you confirm that everyone recognizable in the photo, or their parent or guardian, is okay with it being posted. A team member reviews every submission before it goes live, and we may crop, resize, or decline any photo. Note that submissions are public on GitHub until they are closed, so only submit photos you're comfortable having visible there.

Asking us to remove a photo

If you, or your child, appear in a photo on this site and you want it removed, send us a takedown request or email contact@snowbotics.org. Tell us which page or photo it is and what you'd like removed. You don't need to give a reason.

• We aim to remove the photo from the site within 3 business days of your request.
• On request, we will also remove it from the site's public source history on GitHub.
• Search engines and other sites may keep their own copies for a while; we can't control that, but we'll point you to how to ask them to update.

Reporting a problem

Found a typo, a broken link, or something that looks wrong? Report a problem on GitHub, or email us. For anything about a person in a photo, please email rather than posting publicly.

Changes

We may update this page as the team and the site change. The date at the top shows the latest update. See also our Privacy Policy.
