Truckee Maker Show
We bring our robots to the Truckee Maker Show at the Truckee Community Center, where people of all ages can see them up close, ask questions and learn what robotics involves.
Truckee Snowbotics
We are Truckee Snowbotics #32587, a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team at Tahoe-Truckee High School. We have been designing, building, and programming competitive robots in the Sierra Nevada region of Truckee, California since 2025. We also provide STEM outreach to the local community.
Outreach In The Truckee Community
We have a goal to provide guidance and STEM opportunities to the local community. One of the major parts of our team is to engage with those interested in STEM and our engineering process, and we enjoy giving back to the community.
We're open to discussing STEM opportunities for our team as well as providing them to the community. If your school, group or event would like us to visit and share what we do, or if you know of a program, mentor or opportunity that could help our students learn and grow, reach out to us and we will contact you shortly.
Robot building
Students design, build and program our competition robot together at team build sessions. Newcomers work alongside experienced members and learn CAD, Java programming and electrical systems hands-on. No experience is required.
